Mediation Process
As a Rule 31 Listed General Civil and Family Mediator approved by the Tennessee Supreme Court serving the Middle Tennessee area, Rule 31 Mediation process is applied which allows disputing parties to resolve their conflict with the assistance of a neutral third party. The neutral a mediator, does not dictate a solution, but helps each party express their interests, talk productively, and create the opportunity for agreement. Mediation is private, confidential and completely voluntary. A mediator facilitates a purposeful and directed conversation in which parties are a settlement that meets both their in the future. Mediation helps the parties work more efficiently and effectively toward needs. Should new issues arise or circumstances change, the parties may agree to return to mediation over the process. Instead of working the court calendar and attorney schedules, the mediation can be scheduled to fit the parties schedules.

An elder mediator assists the elderly and their families in making decisions regarding financial concerns, life style change due to death of a spouse/partner, decline in health, independence limits, safety concerns, and long-term care decisions.
